Dream turned to Expedition: My journey to become a well established IT professional started with OneBill. I had always dreamt of working in an IT company and be a part of a great team, where i could foster my skills. It’s been two and half years since I joined OneBill as a Trainee Software Engineer, and I enjoy every bit of it.
The interview process at OneBill was stringent. Besides screening the right candidate on grades or written aptitude test, the extra rounds of personality test are conducted. This added the extra mile for me when compared to my competitors. I would advice fresher who aspire to join an IT company to have a positive attitude and prepare for technical interview sessions, without forgetting your basics.
Right choice @ Product Company: OneBill is a product company and is an ideal place to work for a fresh engineering graduate. Product companies like OneBill work constantly keeping one product / technology in mind, in contrast to any other service company. Working with product development, I learned how a product evolves with the changing technology. If you want to contribute to the innovation, creativity of building a product, OneBill is the place for you. It is essential to highlight your true potential and strength with confidence during every interview session, as product companies do not compromise on skill set.
Motivating and Enthusiastic environment: Joined as a fresher, I stabilized myself at work with the right motivation, confidence and trust from my mentors and unveiled my potential gradually. The team at OneBill works in a collaborative mode. Employees are not pompous about the differences in experiences. A non-hierarchical structure and colleagues create a friendly environment to work. It is slow, but a smooth ride for a new employee to build the product expertise in a product company.
Success at OneBill depends on our skill set, talent, and willingness to learn and owe up responsibility. A great deal of responsibility and trust is shared between employees and managers. There is freedom of work, reward on achievement and novel ideas are encouraged from every member of the team.
